Our Initiatives
The Young Women's Advocacy Network has big plans for the coming months, from coordinating with current women's rights activists and non-profit organizations to researching in preparation for an educational campaign targeted at students.

01
Faces of Change Podcast
We are collecting insights from current women's rights activists and organizations about the work that they do, and how others can get involved
02
Policy Pitch Competition
Middle and high school students will have the opportunity to submit ideas for policy reform that could protect women and gender minorities from gender-based violence. Their ideas will be judged by and shared with a selection of experts.

03
Letter-Writing
We will spearhead a letter-writing campaign and petition urging Canadian politicians to create change for the gender minorities who are forced to live in precarious conditions across the country.
04
Lobbying City Council
We will submit comments to and apply to speak at committee meetings of the city councils across the GTA, appealing to municipal politicians firsthand.
